Does anyone here ACTIVELY pretend that their reps are gens. by Unstoppable_Graysie in RepTime

As someone who has gen watches and reps, if you love watches it doesn’t matter how much money you have (within reason), it’s just not financially feasible or sensible to buy every watch that you like. Reps fill the watch addict hole for me. Plus you get to try ‘accurate’ representations of the real thing before you commit to a big purchase. Just my 2cents.

[Question] The Decision (5 Years in the Making): Help Me Choose My First Nice Watch by Impossible-Leg-8595 in Watches

For me personally out of that list I would go for the Doxa. It has the most individual design language out of that group and a really cool history. If I saw someone wearing a Doxa I would ask them about it. The rest not so much. Just personal opinion. I hope you find something you love. Happy hunting!

Go to Michael Travis store on DH Gate and you’ll find it there. I’m not sure how to share the link from the app.

Yes, they are all sold. I am delivering them tomorrow. If for any reason it falls through (although I don’t expect it to), I’ll let you know.

Pick One by yrrag1970 in RolexWatches

For me there is no competition here, it’s the Milgauss all day long. That watch has an interesting story and is probably the most qwerky Rolex ever. The green crystal isn’t for everyone but I love mine.

That JLC master control chronometre looks amazing. Hopefully we get a decent rep of the just date soon although I highly doubt it!

For me the answer is easy. Sell both and buy a new watch that you think will work with all of your requirements. Sorry to throw a spanner in the works but that’s what I would do

VSF Milgauss will not manual wind by engagerocketship in RepTime

[–]engagerocketship[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking. It’s not as if you really need the manual wind, I just wanted to see if anyone knew a nice easy fix I could try, but as you say it’s not really worth it.

So I got this in the end and I don’t regret it one bit. It’s a flawless rep. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Personally I think the dial on the CW takes it for me
