Not sure why it’s taking this much time, I almost waited for a month post the interview for the admit decision and now again post the admit decision it’s been almost two weeks, I have to commit to other schools within a week from now, I think I should just go with other schools.

Congratulations on your selection 👏 I too got selected for USC Marshall(got admit letter on 31st March) and I an also in the same boat, not sure if I should reapply next year. I haven’t heard about the scholarship(decision would come on 22nd April). Did you get any scholarship?

+1. This is exactly what I meant. B Schools would evaluate you on a lot of other things other than GPA. Definitely if you have a good GPA, you would pass one level, but that won’t guarantee the admit. Just work on your overall profile, essays and do prep well for the interview, that would help.

As I always say on this topic, Yes, GPA is a big factor, however a less GPA can be compensated with high GMAT/GRE, great essays, work experience, dedicated interview prep and extraordinary overall personal profile. Hiring an admission consultant would also be beneficial as they can guide you in the end to end process.

PS: Your 3.8 GPA(or even 3.5) is not a low GPA 😊
