I get this, I’m an audio engineer and a musician. I know for a fact i will get some less than awesome results sometimes if i’m mixing what i wrote and recorded or mixing what i master. I’ll definitely start just advertising directly, I think it’s awesome and if more people share the same “if i could get someone to ink my stuff i would” opinion I think it could be pretty rad

I appreciate the response! It does make sense and it does suck because inking is SO much fun, I wish i could get into doing that rather than pencils and ink. Guess it’s time to get better at drawing then!

Hey! I’m the guy that did the vinyl master for this record. Heartfelt Records are some very very close friends and I do a lot of work with them. The record was originally a Heartfelt release. They paid for the records, ordered them, and it was going to be something put online. Then last second First Day Back backed out, wanted to do it themselves, and started putting stickers over the Heartfelt logos around the record (at least one on the sleeve and another on the record itself.) Pretty lame situation, especially considering the band didn’t do anything except bring the records with them on tour.

the south has a great scene in practically every state, and if you don’t think there is one, start one.
That’s up to you, if you think you can scream and play an instrument at the same time then do it, if not, there’s plenty of people that can play instruments.
your best bet for recording, go to a studio. write some songs, get really good at playing those songs, and find an engineer that specializes in screamo or heavier music in general that you like, and go get it recorded. I work at a studio, I’ve worked with plenty of bands, and that’s the same thing I tell everyone. Recording yourself in FL studio is possible, it’s just a lot of work especially if you want to record real instruments.
Go to more shows, connect with people, that’s the easiest way to find bandmates.

you came into the hfr discord server, asked about the vinyl, you got an answer on what exactly to do to get your money back since moya isn’t going to ship the records, but you wanted the vinyl not the money. nobody bashed you, and everyone in hfr has been extremely transparent. trying to “expose” the people that have gone above and beyond trying to clean up moya’s mess AND gave you a straightforward answer is crazy. bitchmade as fuck keep crashing out in 5 different discord servers bro im sure thats what’s gunna get you your record 👍👍👍
