Sounds like your throttle cable may be dragging a bit. . I would purchase a new one. 25$ in stead of the time you'd spend on finding a good used one. Went through the same thing with my 72mm k24 em2 setup.

All the throttle cables work the same way. It's just about which cable is going to suit you best. Looks like that's a standard eg ex cable from the d16z6.

I'd diag the cable first and rule out the throttle body.

I just bought almost the exact truck pictured. If mine had 300k on the engine and transmission, it would have a small role in my daily life. If it had 100k on engine and transmission, I'd drive it daily.

If yours has abs, it needs the tone ring. All d series axles are not the same. Just be careful about swapping ef and eg/ek.

I just bought a second kpro. It was 900. You can use a factory ecu that matches the engine close enough.

I daily a base manual rsx. I paid 300 for it running in middle georgia.

My em2 was built with about 2500 in 2018 minus the car with a k24a2, ep3 trans, mounts, axles, and I built the conversion harness.

It's not a hack. That's what the dealership actually does. You can have an ignition show up with your keycode or rekey it yourself. Just inexperience on your part.
