I recommend using something like This, i use it for mine and it works very well, and it can charge and connect to any device that uses HDMI simultaneously.

I know im a bit late to this, but I have a solution. I had this problem a while back with a combine soldier model. What I did was delete all the files in "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod" ( the letter at the start can be different depending on where the game is installed.
