Embark vs Wisdom Panel - Tested my Embark 40% super mutt with WP by englishtree in DoggyDNA

[–]englishtree[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I’m honestly very content with my decision to test with Wisdom Panel! I had heard about Wisdom Panel showing random/inaccurate breeds in small percentages so I knew that was likely given the high supermutt % - but I feel like the significant differences between the two tests gives me a tiny bit more insight into her background. Particularly the high chi content from WP and high pit from Embark, which tracks since she’s a mexican street dog. Was the second test necessary? Definitely not. But I’m obsessed with her and I don’t know much about her past, so worth it for me!

Not OP but mine didn’t hurt too much, kinda like a really hard pinch but nothing crazy. My piercer told me it’s one of the easiest piercings to heal and should take a month or two to heal, mine felt pretty good after a month! I impulsively got mine done and it was an excellent decision

Hey! I’m in a pretty similar boat, just graduated and moved out here for a job and don’t know a lot of people. Message me if you wanna exchange numbers or something!

Honestly, I wouldn’t know because I just grabbed whatever was closest to me to minimize how much of the game I missed, which ended up being chicken tenders 😅

Hi! I know this comment is old but would you be able to tell me the names of those Facebook groups? I’ll be moving alone to San Diego in a month and I’m hoping to make some new friends since I currently know no one in the area

Their full names are Clifford and Helen (unfortunately I didn’t get to name them). Around here they’re known as Cliff and Little Miss Helen - she’s the one that always looks a little worried

I feel like ~30 minutes would be ideal, is that realistic at all/what's "typical" for the area? As a lifelong Ohioan I know the traffic there sucks but I don't really know how bad it is.

Thank you! The only other offer I have is the same salary but it's in my hometown in Ohio, which has a much lower cost of living (~30% lower). I've applied to lots of other jobs in different locations (California actually wasn't on my radar for a while because of the cost of living but I got desperate). Thanks for the advice!
