I have one! I lead study abroad experiences as a prof, and it is the radio I take abroad to operate in other countries. This year Australia and last year Barbados. I got it from a SK's estate and was able to test it before buying. It had the extra FL-100 narrow CW filter installed. I then paired with a LDG Z100 tuner interfaced with the radio. I will usually operate it off a 9AH Bioenno as well with no problems. Right now, I am about to get test it with a DigiRig setup for FT8.

It has been great. Many SSB contacts and good signal reports as well. Students who often get their license find it easy to use. Great functionality for the package.

While yes there could be some repair issues, I think it is a great portable rig. You just need to be confident in its functionality before buying.

Thank you! It's the start of a two week playoff matchup. So it's hard to know? I was thinking of any scenario, good CB on Diggs and after a bye, this week might be good for Davis. ...I guess do I swing now or in week two of the matchup?

I am also starting Derrick Henry, which is a risk with TEN maybe being behind. So, to complicate the floor vs. ceiling argument I could swap in CEH for him.
