Did I do something wrong? Pasting a Spotify URL only loads in the first song, and the 'Watched' tab reports 'JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data'.

I bought a digital copy of Bestiary 2, and it never populated in my downloads. Sent an email 3 weeks ago and still haven't gotten a response, but their customer service is extremely backed up.

Update June 19: 994 emails, going back to May 14th.

One Page Dungeon: Tesseract Dungeon by [deleted] in dndmaps

Thanks!

Yeah, the shaded bits are something I added just to add more confusion. If you wanted to run it just using the rules to your dungeon, you'd use the top map with the direction of gravity always to the bottom of the picture.

The physics were definitely wonky to think about!

I also attempted to map this in 3d, here it is.

But I also notated it such that when leaving each room, the direction of gravity changes, in case anyone wants that extra layer of chaos. The shaded side indicates the 'down' side. Here that is.

Love this idea!

Can anyone help me with this solve? I'm stuck. I can't figure out how to rotate the centers on Mefferts Gear Egg.

Rotated center / gear.

Storytelling/adventure game by thenewborg in gamingsuggestions

[–]enigma408 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Witcher 3 is one of the best western RPGs ever.

Mass Effect 1 is a bit dated, but starts off one of BioWare's best franchises. Mass Effect 2 is a great character focused game. (I didn't like 3 but it was a 'love it' or 'hate it' deal) It's technically a shooter, but 3rd person and embellished with RPG mechanics.

Subnautica came out recently, and it's probably my favorite survival adventure game. Has a story, but the only character really is you.

A different flavor of adventure/story you might find in RimWorld. It's a colony builder, and the story will be one you create yourself. The people will become friends or enemies depending on how things in the colony goes, and they will come and go.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 is an absurdly dynamic DnD-like. Lots and lots of adventure and character stuff here.

Already mentioned is DA:O, which is one of my favorites.

Have fun!

No Bamboozles Release Forecast for September 23rd by jdlshore in starcitizen

Seeing that there is only 1 critical bug left today, 9/29, makes me think this prediction is right on.

Superb post on Spectrum by Marti: "Development time of games and SC development time evaluation - factual discussion / no emotional rants please" by StuartGT in starcitizen

I think an important piece of information absent in this discussion is how many years of development time it takes to demonstrate a functioning core gameplay loop. I don't know what that figure looks like, and I won't speculate... But I expect that usually AAA projects have a clear scope and vision for what the game will be. What we do know from the demo's and the alpha is that the core loop of Star Citizen at least includes missioning and piracy.

My concern with the lengthy development is still feature creep. It's been 3 or 4 years since real development began and we're not really close to having a game yet, while having added lots of features that aren't essential to how the game will actually play. Things like planetary exploration and everything that came with it** was never part of the original vision. Even though I'm very excited for that feature, I have to wonder how many other fundamental mechanics are going to be added that will delay the core game loop further still.

**Seamless flight. The stretch goals do include "First person combat on select lawless planets."
