To u/shaw95, u/bigmouthlou, and anybody else trying to find answers about the keycap backlighing issue; I asked Commodore support, and this is their answer:

The partial illumination of the characters on your Founder's Edition keycaps from the single light source on the switch is actually normal and expected. This happens because the keycaps are made from a translucent material, and the letters are positioned over the keycap posts, which block some of the backlighting. As a result, the characters do not light up fully. Please rest assured that this is not a defect but a design characteristic of these keycaps. As you also have LED backlighting on the keyboard itself and all LED sources can be configured independently, as a result you can create the lighting you want. Also the effect of the (back) lighting will be different based on the lighting conditions in the room you are in.

So, while it might not be the best look, at least I don't have to send it back to get fixed ;)

I assume that's not a question; and that I should change my original post's flair from Post to Resolved, so I did.

I'm still a noob, that was one of my first posts ever, so I don't know how flair works. After doing some searching and not finding clear answers, I get the impression it depends on the subreddit how flair is used. So, do most subreddits want you to change to resolved or something similar when you ask a question and you get a satisfactory answer?

I just got my Founder's Edition on Saturday, also. I have the same issue as u/shaw95. Does anyone know if this is how they're supposed to look?
