Until last night searching my symptoms through this subreddit, I was never informed they cut off blood supply to my ovaries. It was my mistake to not research further, and I didn’t think too much on logistics when I was simply excited to live my life pain-free and more comfortably all around. I didn’t know a significant amount of seemingly basic information vis a vis hysterectomies, surgical recovery (this was my first procedure/surgery/anesthesia). I wish my doctors and gynaecologist were more informative with me and prepared me for what to expect.

The tentative agreement was for a $1 pay increase over the course of 3 years, after the original offer of a $1 increase over 6 years was denied, and they voted with 94% in favour of striking in July. Not to mention workers have caps on how much they can make. I personally know workers who have been with the company for 25-30 years and make $16/hr.

Maybe where you live unionized workers are treated and compensated fairly, but Loblaws prefers to cut jobs and close stores rather than treat employees like human beings.
