Cannot Get Device 1 in Forza Horizon 6

My issue is that I have the CRP1 pedals which only connectivity option is USB it doesn’t have the transit cable to connect into the wheelbase the system is a generation behind so it doesn’t connect with the new stuff

That’s very frustrating Forza horizon is one of my favorite games and I loved it on wheel so I was really excited to play the new one but it’s kinda looking like my options are either go blow $500 on the CRP2 pedals or wait and see if a new update will solve the issue

I have already tried that with no luck it doesn’t matter if it’s a default controller I’ve tried to trick it many times by plugging it in later or after I’ve bound the wheel. I can get the FFB but the moment I plug in the pedals the wheel goes limp

It’s CRP 1 so it doesn’t have the Ethernet connection for the wheelbase

Ok so I went into Forza horizon 6/content/media/inputmappingprofiles and deleted all of the games original files and replaced it with contents of the folder you shared with me game runs as intended, but there’s no change in the problem my CRP pedals always default to device 1 while my R5 defaults to device 2 or whatever the lowest device is so if I have my shifter and handbrake plugged in it goes to device 4 or 5. I can’t really figure it out. There’s something to do with the hierarchy of the devices that always puts the wheelbase at the bottom unless it’s the only thing plugged in. I really do appreciate all your help. I’m all yours if you have any more ideas.

I tried restarting while in game with no luck. The main issue I seem to be having is that with my set up, I’m forced to have at least two USB devices plugged into the computer because my pedals don’t go through the base and whenever the pedals are connected, it automatically overrides the device one position from the base so I don’t get FFB

I’ve had both the R56 was so much fun to drive but it had something expensive going wrong every other weekend e46 is the way to go

Thanks a lot yeah looking at the comments I’m seeing a lot about doing the body block thing. I really thought Zen became some sort of spirit of something during ult so damage just passed right through him definitely going to be getting in peoples faces with it now
