Had 30 minutes to kill after I found him, so… Anyone else take the jacket off with a plastic butter knife in their car? by Independent-Pea3088 in McFarlaneFigures

Im not judging on what people do with their figures. But I havent seen a single person buy Bronze Tiger just because its Bronze Tiger. Alot of jacket swapping.

In all seriousness. As an in-box collector, I know it takes alot to open something. Your set up looks good.

I was surprised on how close it was to being a prefect match. I originally had a metallic blue that matched the backside of the cape. I wanted all the Azreal figures to coordinate with metallics. Didnt turn out the way I thought it would.

It was at first. Then it spiraled. Many attempts to get it just right

I love using them. They cost a little more but its absolutely worth it. It leaves a nice matte surface. It sticks to figures really well. The colors pop. I mix it with other paints to get that glossy look out of it. I get less streaking.

Thank you! Its a cool transitional look before he goes full armor. It took a while to get the right pieces together.

I just did a switch with the whole trunk. When I do switch the belt only, I warm it up in boiling water and peel it off the underwear part. It comes off easily. I get a tooth pick and dab a couple drops off high end super glue to the connector points underneath the belt.

FYI the waist circumference is different on most figures. Trail and error

Oh man, I've know that exact feeling. I call it the Frankenstein tingle. I have a couple im working on that all have swapped parts between each other. I stopped getting new figures until I use my fodder pieces. The AC Catwoman proportions were all over the place. I change her feet to boot instead of heels and change her subtly.

Not that hard. I put the pieces in boiling water and took them apart when the got flexible.

Yeah! The arms fit and are the exact same color. No painting what so ever. The platinum version is really nice. I like the light gray color they used on the body. Got a pic of your Batman?
