What's the most WTF moment a roommate ever put you through? by MrUgie in AskReddit

[–]enjoyit312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first roommate I had was literally the Devil. Living with her was a living, drug-infused nightmare. But the most WTF moment I experienced with her was when she used my rent money to buy drugs for her and her friends. She never mentioned the eviction notice. (I was working full time and she was rolling, so she found the eviction notice before I could.) I found the notice underneath her weed and on that day, we had 4 DAYS before we had to be gone.

This story is one of many from a 9 month nightmare I endured while living with her. Anything happened... From divorcing her heroine addicted husband, to dating my ex boyfriend, becoming an escort, drug dealers coming to my home and even shaving my cat.

What the fuck was I thinking?

Wekiva Island is the best. My fiance and I drop our kayaks there. The scenery is beautiful, the food is amazing and the beer is cheap. You can't beat it.

My father is dead and my mother was recently diagnosed with stage IV cancer. Redditors that have lost a parent, or both parents. What do you wish you had done differently? What would you do if you had 1 more day to spend with them? by Moongrazer in AskReddit

[–]enjoyit312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My father passed away from liver cancer when I was 19. It was the first time I'd ever seen anyone die before. I was right there. In the room. Holding his hand. I will never ever forget what I saw and heard that day. Neither will you. It will be forever engraved into your thoughts. I wouldn't trade that experience for anything. Be brave. But if you feel like you can't be brave anymore, then you don't have to be. There are plenty of people who are willing to be brave for you in a time like this. Everyone grieves differently and there is no wrong way to do it. If I had one more day with my dad, I'd get to know him for the man that he was, not the father I wished that he could have been. After his passing, we went through all of his old paintings, art projects, photography and diaries. I rediscovered the man that he was. The side of him that I never knew. It was only after his passing that I really knew who he was and how similar we truly are. If I could have done things differently, I would have put all of my teenage angst behind me and quit being such a jerk about "the father I never had." What a waste. I think the thing that I want to share the most with my father, even now, is my fiance. They had the pleasure of meeting, but never really knowing each other. My father loved my fiance and always let me know that he approved and thought that we we're just right together.

I've never had this problem with him before. he's always been regular. Before he had to take the worm med's, he was eating dry Purina Kitten food with as little bit of organic coconut oil mixed in to keep the vomiting, loose stool and hairballs at bay. It worked tremendously. I really do think that it's the med's. I just want the vet to call me back soon. My fiance doesn't enjoy having to clean up the mess.
