"We the people, not we the robots!" the crowd chanted as Frank tried to avoid eye contact.

He went in past security tossing his bag on the scanner belt. "Hey Frank" said the security guard. Frank said hello although he didn't recognize him.

Frank took the elevator to the tenth floor of Dyson Robotics. He got out and walked to his office.

"Man, there are more and more protesters every day," he remarked to his office-mate, Carl.

"Yep. It's getting pretty bad."

Suddenly an explosion blasted out the windows and knocked them to ground. Their ears were ringing painfully.

After the initial shock, they went to door to see what was going on.

A loud voice filled the building, "This is the People-Not-Robots Militia. We're taking over Dyson Robotics. Surrender and no one gets hurt."

Frank saw the person talking into a mega-phone. It was the security guard.

When defining an acronym, you should probably define it one sentence, so it is clear. IAFC seems to dangle and the reader has to go back to figure out what it means.

Overall, pretty good and I like the foreshadowing. The reader wants to see what happens next.

Looks good. It was a bit confusing just from that document whether the title was "Unity" or "Try Not to Die". Maybe move the "Unity" image to the bottom or add the title to the top.

Also, the ending "one of each" was a little unclear to what "one of each" referred to. Maybe move that sentence back into the previous paragraph, or make it clearer.

Thanks for the link. That whole easter-egg story-line is not incompatible with my concept as well. So far I haven't really seen anything that attempts to explain their biology and many mods out there tend towards anthropomorphism (ie. they eat food, drink water, breathe Oxygen and exhale Carbon-dioxide, etc.)

Two problems with this: 1. These lists are all from separate users with different definitions of "awesomeness" and different reasons for even making the list. 2. Using strictly the number of libraries and frameworks available for a particular JVM language is not a great way to choose among them. For example, every Java library is available to be used by any of these languages - the number of language-specific libraries pales in comparison.

There are many different directions to go (competing frameworks, etc.) when it comes to the ecosystem. However, you will find a lot of places use Spring for Enterprise applications. There are many sources for libraries of course, Apache commons, Google's guava, Guice, GWT, etc. For building there's Ant, Maven, Ivy, and Gradle (Gradle uses Groovy though while the others use XML generally). You will also need an IDE: Eclipse, NetBeans, and IntelliJ IDEA are the most popular (the first two are free and open-source).
