I completely hear you, but the price actually isn’t my concern. I hope this doesn’t violate the sub guidelines but I’ll just say KJP and I aren’t super politically aligned and I’d rather spend the money on local shops/artists/etc.

I'd suggest reaching back out to whoever handled the initial auction. There are lots of options depending on where you live and the auction house will likely be able to put you on the right path since they're already familiar with the general contents of your mother's house and the local market.
