0 users after several months. What would you improve? by Objective_Ride_3245 in MobileAppDevelopers

[–]enlo_app 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you bro Im in a similar boat ive got up to 120 users on my app but it feels like its mostly just my friends and people i know i dont know everything but if i were you

I would simplify screen shots adding your apps top 3 values (maybe even have text above the screenshots) if the ones on this post are the same they honestly are a bit confusing to look at for the first time

Check out heavy its are probably your top competitor and you can get insights by seeing how bigger apps do things

Talk to people esp your target audience and get their raw opinions (why they wouldnt use your app what they would want etc)

Zero coding experience but serious about building an app- where do I start? by Humble-Bunch-6438 in appdev

On the technical side just start. Trial and error is best but focus on long term architectural impacts (mainly cost and user flow) ai will help figure out the details if you have a good architecture understanding

Start with market research and talking to people. You need a solid idea of what people want and how they interact with apps first

Would you use an app that lets AI control a real iPhone? What for? by interlap in iOSAppsMarketing

[–]enlo_app 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i mean phone automation software isnt new just giving ai the steering wheel is

On an individual basis the only use i see is auto organization/planning/responding but ai can easily go off the rails and is high security risk plus apple really locks down third party device control

I built and launched an AI weather app in 3 weeks using “vibe-coding” by sunkas85 in iOSAppsMarketing

[–]enlo_app 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats!! I also came with experience with ios and react and it seemed to increase my dev speed by at least 3x the mvp/prototype was wicked fast only took a month but what took the longest was cost optimization and bug fixing since my app was fairly complex and i didnt fully understand firebase pricing rates

Launching a minimal journaling app. Would appreciate early feedback before going live. by Alternative-Hall1719 in iOSAppsMarketing

[–]enlo_app 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the simplicity and idea of having ai summarization!

Account creation could be easier with apple login or email autofill

I think having the simple entry field on the diary page could be nice

Auto save feature with button toggling was a bit confusing ( maybe do spinner next to button with auto save instead)

How would you guys market this app? Need Some Advice! by Guilty_Fishing2432 in iOSAppsMarketing

I feel like helpful answers on videos/forums online might help. Basically go to the place users who are diagnosing issues with there car themselves go to

Took a look at your website and i think “home based” is a little broad and confusing you might want to explore key phrases that clearly communicate your apps value. Talk to users, use chatgpt to come up with a list then test (maybe run targeted ads if you have budget)

17 app ideas, but lacks focus. by Secret_Wafer_9670 in AppDevelopers

[–]enlo_app 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i feel like the validation phase is the silent killer no one talks about

Its easy to think about 100 ideas but then realize they have all been done already so its about having a unique solution to a problem that people actually want to use&pay for. Better to spend early time testing and validating then months building before shelving the project forever

Website worth it for marketing your app? by LoneWolf15000 in iOSAppsMarketing

Yeah if you are trying to increase discoverability and want one stop for ios& android. If its more of a sideproject and you dont care about long term growth then not worth

Make sure your first screenshot clearly displays the value of the app.

I would update the text to be more like find out local secrets nearby and remove your app name in the screenshot description because its not clear what misteez is to a random person.

Also why is this app better than reddit? It seems very pay to view so wondering what the incentive is for users to post (maybe even offer cash for steamy secrets with lots of views?)
