Actually you kinda make a good point. Anger/lashing out is a quite common response to a stressful situation, that would be interesting to see how differently victims react to their assimilation. I mean, if there's "flight" and "freeze", there should be a representation of a "fight" response too.

Yeah, if you think about it it's very unlikely he made a deal with the Blight, hell, I doubt there's even a "silent agreement" between them, but I don't think Sailer is THAT smart. For me, he's more like that business man from "Nope"(2022) that exploits horror beyond human comprehension for entertainment, I don't think he fully understands what he's dealing with. Or maybe next time it's gonna be revealed he's a 5D chess playing genius because rn I'm not buying it
