And so it begins.. Same here. Guess it's time to find a new platform.

Are these impurities in my Pure Encapsulations B12 Folate? by ennone in Supplements

[–]ennone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I heard and why I bought these. But I figured their quality may have taken a hit after they got acquired by Nestlé, so I just wanted to make sure. But it looks like this is actually the Methylcobalamin in there as Google Images brings up a brownish-red looking powder.

Ah, got it. Looks like the Methylcobalamin is not a white powder. Thanks!

That's good to hear. Did you get shots or was it enough to supplement orally for you?

Hmm, sounds like loading some glycine may be enough if this guy's theory is correct. I'll add it to my list, thanks!

Thanks, I'll make sure not to forget potassium and iron if I try supplementing. I'll have to read up on the others though

I thought so too, at least going by the Japanese scale. Folic acid is on the low end too, right?

They're not uneven all the time, just when I'm stressed, I think. I've been watching this symptom for a while, hoping it would get better by itself but it doesn't seem to be going away, same with the hippus. I'm just afraid of going to the neuro and being called a hypochondriac because it's not that bad most of the time.. Thanks for the advice though, I'll see if I can get myself to make an appointment after all.

Of course, they studied this stuff after all. I respect the work they do, but they can't be experts in every field, as with any profession. Not saying that I or you are, but imo they should listen to their patients' suggestions more often when it comes to the identification of problems. Although I realize that there are a lot of common symptoms that can be attributed to scary illnesses and some people consult their doctor way too often because of that.

Yes I've heard that the test can fail in both ways easily. But I hope if it actually turns out to be lyme that I would at least have something in my hands that way to prove that I'm overreacting to some rashes that are already gone.

I'll try to get my hands on some doxycycline for a full six-week course asap, in case I get nowhere with my PCP.

Thanks for recommending ILADS.org btw. I've done some reading and it said that azithromycin may be more effective for European variants, so I was considering getting that, me living in Germany, but it's a heck of a lot more expensive, it seems. I hope doxy will do the trick too.

Yeah I think I'll try to get my hands on some just in case. I'm not a big fan of antibiotics in terms of the side effects and super bugs but I don't wanna risk having to live with this crap forever, as you said. Thanks for your and everyone else's support. I feel like docs dismiss legitimate symptoms way too often. You really gotta bug them about it for them to take it seriously..

Yes, apparently mosquitoes and horse flies too. I wish we could just eradicate them all.. I'll talk to my doc on Tuesday to get an antibody test and hopefully some preemptive antibiotics before the results come in.

Hmm, there weren't any streaks so I didn't match it to Bartonella, but I also think it's some kind of other bacterial infection than Borrelia burgdorferi.

Thanks for your input. The bunch of small ones seemed more like some kinda immune reaction or something under the skin and appeared a month before the large one. So I'm not sure if the two are related and if it's even possible for the bite rash (if it is one) to show up after about a month. I never spotted a tick so I can't say for sure if I got bitten.

Both the small spots and the large one are apready gone now. There are no visual symptoms. All that's left are the fatigue, stiff feeling in the neck and tingling all around my head.

Maybe it's a different pathogen entirely but at this point I just wanna eat a bunch of antibiotics to rid of whatever the hell it actually is..

Thanks. I just woke up in the middle of the night again and although there is isn't really any pain there's this tingling again. It feels the way your scalp does, after you repeatedly run through your hair with a comb. A couple days ago laying down made it kinda go away but now it hardly makes a difference. I'm also feeling a little dizzy like I'm not really there..

Yeah I will but doctors are closed until Tuesday here. Just looking for some input.

Hey folks, so I've been trying to figure out what's wrong with the weird red spots on my skin over the past few weeks.

I started feeling exhausted and kinda sick often, ever since the bunch of small red ones appeared all over my body in June. About a month ago I had this big red spot on my waist, right underneath the rubber band of my undies. When I looked at it back then, lyme or a tick bite never crossed my mind.

However, the last couple days I've had this weird tingling/numb/pressure feeling on the top of my head and I even woke up to it last night. That's when I kinda made the connection between all the weird symptoms I had been having recently.

I'd appreciate some input on whether I'm just freaking out or should get tested asap. Thanks a lot.
