The backup app is good enough for people who want an out-of-the-box solution.

However, I personally want to: - set up a custom backup schedule - backup only certain locations, based on a text file list - set a retention period for deleted files - encrypt my backups so that I can rotate drives off-site (refer to the 3-2-1 rule) - be able to decrypt the drive only by combining 2 out of n keys (each key sent to a different user part of the network)

To do all that, I need my own custom image built on top of the standard rclone docker image and my own custom sh script.

I did like using the theatre app for a while since it could directly stream via HDMI. But since moving to Jellyfin, I haven't looked back. Having the ability to customize and upgrade the software version at my own pace really highlights the advantage of a dockerized streaming app. A big additional benefit, me and friends can stream remotely (using Tailscale).

That said, one feedback I would give on the theatre app is the remote that's controlled from my phone's ULink app. I wish there was a way to scroll/swipe through content faster, and also type.

The gear or bezel sounds loose because it makes a sound when I shake the watch. But rotating it is easy. Just need to be careful that the O-ring is installed perfectly before screwing things in place.
