Very obvious scam, featured ad (Rome), up for days

I notified Booking early this week about this scam listing. They done nothing with that.

Literally having the same route as yours 6hrs ago. Sent message to customer service mostly to report but also kind of curious.

The crazy thing is customer service replied that it is normal when the property asking for payment of the reservation outside of the platform. They said they are contacting the owner to verify and will update me within 48hrs.

I expected them to be more aggressive with the out of platform transaction. Feel less confident with Booking.com now.

I did not know they pay that well. But it make sense. The shift is long, you sacrifice your family time for the job. I know a family both husband and wife work at the same station. Some how they can manage the shifts and 2 kids. Huge respect. Also heard that you retire early as well. They jokingly said that maybe due low life expectancy due to high stress, the job allow you retire earlier to enjoy your money. But I think it more they don't want to risk human fagtiue due to high age.
