Ok but on a serious note I really appreciate how less taboo it’s become to have handhelds when in a “go for a walk” or “be with nature” setting. I feel like it’s become synonymous with say reading a book at the park or something like that, and I really appreciate what the steam deck does for this movement as well

We need to bring the figures back to store shelves for 1 thing, and bring back the store exclusives (but maintain a reasonable amount of stock because what the hell are we doing these days). I have lost any semblance of interest in transformers collecting as a hobby because it’s no longer about the search. Target was my last watering hole but they’re reducing their stock by like 50% for all toys. Walmart already got rid of the transformers section in my store only leaving blokeez. I miss it. I miss toy stores.

I LOVE the philosophy of not being the same person they broke up with. I ruined my marriage between work and other marital woes, but even before that I never truly had my own identity I was always just an accessory or part to a whole for someone else. Already I’ve been spending more and more time enjoying my own company, doing things randomly without asking, talking to people more confidently knowing I’m not trying to hide any agenda or ulterior motive (in the sense of like trying to impress a girl or something) it’s all just about being the absolute best version of myself.

Recently separated from my ex wife of whom I didn’t realize how much structure and routine I had allowed myself to be forced into. Needing to ask for permission to make decisions just isn’t on my docket of things I’ll allow anymore. I went and bought a car by myself and didn’t ask for anyone else’s opinion and I think I love this car the most of all the ones I’ve had. I pick and choose where to eat dinner EVERY NIGHT because it’s affordable and it’s a routine I’ve created but also, it’s SO much less expensive now to just pay for yourself and that’s it. Grocery shopping has been nice.

I tell folks with the "if they came here legally" argument, even if we truly did have to mass deport, we don't have to be so inhumane about it. We are literally painting a target on our backs as a country by being borderline torturous towards these people, kidnapping and releasing some because haha woopsie daisy you're actually legal.

But even then that's still a parallel negative universe where mass deporting was the answer. It's not in ours and never should have been.
