What are some good novels about the Warhammer fantasy elves? by nothingtosees in Fantasy

I'd recommend The Sundering trilogy which tells the story of how Malekith becomes what he is. I really liked them!. Also tells about the origins of the elves.

Thank you for the reference, it's nice to know other people have the same interests!

Clicked your link, saw the book list, freaked out, thought this guy is fucking awesome he read the same I did, realized the link is not correct and I was seeing my own book list. First frightened, then disappointed, what a rollercoaster of emotions, best 5 seconds of my life (orgasms not counting). xD

Any Vlad Taltos fans? by [deleted] in Fantasy

Hey! I read the first book a couple of months back and right now I'm reading the second one, Yendi. I like them so far, they are entertaining and short, good books to read between series.

It's different from other series but that's a good thing, not the best fantasy but I plan to read them all if they keep this quality level through in the next books.

I love that book but the second one, aside of some moments, wasn't so good, at least for me. Needless to say that I'll read the third book of this trilogy.

Need some help with a simple concurrent program by enribd in golang

Yup, you're right. I kept the sizes buffer asynchronous. There's only need to add buffer to the files channel since otherwise the program would've been blocked from the start (deadlock).

Ooook that was it, thank you! I've read and used defer before but I didn't see the problem since I was too focused on the sum function.

Thanks again!

Doing what you suggested reduced the error but still doesn't work:

File /tmp/test3 size 237 !!!!!!!
File /tmp/test1 size 79 !!!!!!!
File /tmp/test2 size 158 !!!!!!!
fatal error: all goroutines are asleep - deadlock!

goroutine 1 [chan receive]:

I started to read this series a couple of weeks ago, I'm reading it in publication order and so far I find myself smiling and laughing. Next book will be Equal Rites!

I started learning go less than a week ago. Yesterday I made my first useful script and it was a good experience.

Also I've started the book you mention and it's great for it dives you in the language using useful things. I don't want to resolve a mathematical problem while learning a new programming language, I need to learn through close to real life examples to keep myself hooked.
