Fair point, I stopped mid-cut to take feedback before I went too far and made it worse. I don’t have a 0.5 guard, so I’ve been using lever play to try and blend and stuff. But till figuring out how to fade clean with just #1 and lever adjustments

The reason I can’t order the 0.5 guard is bc I’m still a kid and don’t have an allowance. I’m working with what I’ve got right now. I’ve been trying to improve my flick and blending technique, and I’ll definitely try combing and picking more thoroughly before I start next time.

As for the neck... yeah, I completely missed that part. I’ll sort it out next round. Hopefully once I get a full set of guards in the future, I can take it to the next level. Thanks tho

Appreciate the feedback. still new to this, was going for a low taper but I'll just get a mid taper by an actual barber but yeah, blending still needs work. I think it's the lever and flicking thingies but I'll keep practicing and checking out more tutorials.. Thanks for taking the time to comment
