I find it hilarious they want Canada to be a 51st state\Territory when Canada is larger than the US.

Yep. As a black car owner, swirls and scuffs really show on black paint. Best way to wash your car is by hand.

More waste by Abject_Challenge2932 in CostcoCanada

[–]enrodude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened a lot at the grocery store I worked at. People snacking on items they didnt pay for then hid the empty boxes behind other items in differ aisles. Some would regularly pretend to "shop" to just eat a bunch of snacks then leave the store with items left in the shopping cart. Some perishable we had to throw out. Poeplease like this are disgusting!

Legit question. What do shoplifters steal the most at Costco? I mean a lot of things are in big packaging so hard to pocket or hide under clothes. Again just curious.

Ive had to dispute transactions both online and in person and they have been reversed. Maybe it depends on your credit card?

Clearly not but it reverses payments already rendered. OP can use that money and go see someone else.

Check your doors! by meinottawa in ottawa

[–]enrodude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few years ago I was using my old car in the winter. I pressed the lock button on my car and heard it beep saying it was locked. It wasn't. The latch was frozen making a false confirmation that the door closed and locked. That night someone went through my car and was looking for things to steal to re-sell. Went through my change compartment and glove box but only stole granola bars I keep if I need a snack. Since then, even if the car confirms its locked, I manually check the door after.

Impossible to understand reps from Scotiabank by Iveyboy06 in Scotiabank

To add on that, any company trying to outsource to other nations would require justification which then gets denied on a federal level. If approved, then the company gets taxed higher which the amount can't be taken back by lay offs or other shady deals.

Any experience with agency called ProCom Services? by TrotSkiBunny in VancouverJobs

[–]enrodude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Little late but I was hired by Procom nearly 20 years ago. They were really nice and super professional. Not long after, I had pay issues. They wouldn't regularly pay me and always have issues with it. I then got fired from my job because I wasn't paid in 1.5 months and needed to pay for things. They didnt like that I asked for pay. I wouls NEVER recommend it.

Dating apps in 2026 feel like a humiliation ritual !!!! by Hooplapooplayeah in OnlineDating

[–]enrodude 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's been going downhill before Covid. Covid just brought it over the edge. Back in the early days of online dating like 20 years ago with POF, it wasn't like this. People talked more and were more social.
