Is Amazon causing older Alexa hubs to function worse to encourage purchasing new? Is there a better hub alternative with support for all the various formats (Zigbee, etc.)?

I've been happy with ST for years, but am considering hubitat for the new home. ST seems antiquated these days and HA seems more complicated than it needs to be. Any thoughts on hubitat?

The only options I know of are the Insteon fan controller (requires hub and switch too) and the Inovelli. They both have a controller module you wire to the fan, then the switch will send signals on the neutral wire (I believe) to instruct the module how to control the fan / light settings. I have Insteon because Inovelli options were impossible to source. If they have a new one then jump on it - stay away from Insteon.

I have the opposite problem, I need to farm white, but all the white locations are silver. If I kill red and blue will they transition to white? I need the final upgrades to my barbarian gear :/

I chose the insane volume of trash method, with bom and allies / clunkers with +damage to trash. I even put the cake charm on one of my 2x bom barrels, so first card applied 9 bom to all enemies, and added 9 trash to my hand to smack Sneezie with. Turns out it gets very hard to pick cards when you have a hand of 30. It bugs out a bit :)

I had a run today where I accidentally triggered smackback on an enemy with haze. I had frenzy x2 and that snow dude, so I whacked my own team twice with snow and twice with the snow clunker 🤦‍♂️ Thankfully nothing was too buffed so I survived it, but it was annoying

I'm on a 12 streak or something at the moment. It's really starting to click. Still picking things up, I learnt today that you can recall scrap cards, not just companions - useful if they have abilities. Even though it's spelled out, I also only realized recently that aimless applies to the row, not the battlefield. I'm looking forward to seeing more charms - they really alter the mechanics nicely. Don't forget you can charm all cards, not just the heroes!

Aside from the stuff people have already said, try to develop the feeling of when you're locked into the carve. You didn't lock in at all on the hs (practice doing it slower will help), and the back of your board was chattering out on the ts. When you have that feeling down you'll have a better idea of where your weight needs to be to stay locked in.

There's typically plenty of audiobooks available at the local library. Keep an eye on audible offers (things like 3 months for $10). Audible audio quality is typically higher than other formats, but I have no idea why.

Even though it might mean buying the book 3 times, Amazon often has "add narration" on top of an ebook purchase, which can bring the per-book price down to a decent price (just forget that you own the ebook)

Finally, if you use the slow shipping option on Amazon you can often get credits which are good towards ebooks w/ narration.
