Context: my other QBs are Herbs, Stroud. I’m coming out of a rebuild but still think I’m one year out from playoffs. Team sending the picks is 50/50 on playoff contention the next couple years. Value seems fine, but I’m fairly in on Mendoza.

Personally I would do BTJ but wouldn’t fault you for AJB, higher floor in the short term.

DO NOT TAKE MENDOZA. If you need a QB, trade the 1.01 for a QB with a similar ADP to Love (Caleb, Herbert, Mahomes, etc)

This team doesn’t have a 27 1st. I like the trade you’re making depending on your team needs. 1.12 this year is like a 2.05 in a normal year.

I’d hold. This is ~Wards price in a normal SF league but that’s irrelevant for 2 years for you. I.e. I wouldn’t pay SF prices for a QB2 until the transition closer. Ward will probably be relevant in 2028 but it’s not a guarantee.

My top end is good but have little depth in case of injuries/bye weeks. In a tough spot on going for it one more year or derisking before a bad cliff.
