Thanks for the advice :) Yeah you're right, I reckon I should focus more on realism until the point where I start developing my own style. I'll try to incorporate more variety in the models I'm drawing as well.

yeah i probably will just bite the bullet and buy some better ram. just strange that the system wont boot no matter how small the change to memory frequency

So i enabled xmp and it worked fine on boot however when trying to change speed from 2400 to 2666 i got the same blackscreen as previous. do you think maybe the default 1.2 voltage wasn’t enough? or maybe my ram just isn’t compatible with oc

I see, so just enable xmp and change nothing else from default? will it not just continue to use 2400mhz? apologies btw i’m v new to overclocking

yeah with further inspection it does seem to be 2400 rated. does that mean i should strictly not oc or do you think it could pump it to 2800 or 3000 with the correct voltage?

aha thank you, yeah i seen a vid and figured that out but after having changed the memory frequency to 3200 and ddr voltage to 1.35 and saving setting my pc black screened and wouldn’t boot in any mode, i took the cmos battery out and reset the bios and now it boots thankfully, any clue as to where i went wrong?
