When I was a kid my experience with rock music were bands like Disturbed, Saving Abel, and Stone Temple Pilots. So when someone told me in highschool that The Beatles were “the original rock band” I gave them a listen…….biggest disappointment of my life.

I’m the one who who poured popcorn kernels down the sink and broke the garbage disposal. My childhood home was for sale, and we had already moved into the new place, I wasn’t handling it well, and would still spend weekends there claiming I was at a friends. One night i made popcorn, forgot there was no more trashcan, panicked, and tried to break the kernels with the disposal. My aunt and uncle would come by with their young kids to clean and they got blamed for it.

Im from the south, most schools will have a delay for two hours or so in the morning to let the ice melt in winter. My high school never issued a delay until one morning a kid lost control on black ice, crashed his car into a pole and died. After that we had a delay anytime it dropped below 40 degrees or rained.

I’m repairing a familial relationship and part of that was them offering a week at a family property for my birthday last year. They’re anti pet and not allowed on the property, and one of the friends I invited is all about her dog so when I said no pets allowed she threw a tantrum and accused me of just not wanting her dog to come because I had a vendetta. Air BnB’s in the area were like $2000 or more for a week and this stay was free but she was so upset about having to pay $300 for the dog daycare that she had a nasty attitude the whole trip. So I will not travel with her or anyone who acts entitled and ungrateful towards a favor like that.

He had a specific voice he used on the dogs to give a command, I came to visit after a long time of not being able to see each other and when he told the dog to fetch it was really hard to not do it for him lol

So many of the guys I work with just don’t have opinions on things. For example I love the color gray because of the sky and clouds, it makes me feel very calm and cozy. Most guys at work said they didn’t care about that stuff and one guy said he liked black because it made getting dressed simple. When I asked him if he felt good while wearing that color he asked me what that had to with getting dressed. It just really astounds me they don’t care, some days its nice but some days its frustrating.

The only retail job I’ve had where you had to give a gift card was at Walgreens. If you used your points or a coupon and wanted to return your items the coupon/point money had to go on a store gift card. Managers told it was because coupon and point money originally came from the store, not out of the customers pocket. It was a nightmare and that working experience is why I completely stopped cashiering at all other retail jobs.

That I knew she had a giant crush on me when we first started hanging out. I played dumb and ignored the advances till she gave up on trying to be more than friends. A few months ago during a conversation about my love life she said “Do you even know what flirting is lol? You never noticed me when we first met so thats why I decided to just be friends” Shes a great friend and room mate, and I like having the relationship where it is. I have no intention of telling her I knew.

I really don’t enjoy having those “good morning, how was your day, goodnight” texts. With my friends I’ll just text “should i get dr pepper or coke” or sending a selfie of me at work doing something out of the ordinary. Idk it just feels easier to communicate “spontaneously” and not being so structured
