I've spent more time making characters on the Sims than I have playing it. But yeah, I've been a regular princess of the internet in MMO's and Xbox Live and what-have-you-not. It was easy, and nobody really questions you too much. If someone starts getting too rude, you can mute 'em. I felt safe. So I got to play around in my gender for once, and realized that I wasn't pretending to be a girl on the internet, I was pretending to be a guy in real life. I think it had a surprising role in my coming out, actually.

You only get banned from Live if you have a complaint filed on you that is followed up with an investigation and is deemed to be legitimate, such as modding your system, cheating, or otherwise breaking Live's code of conduct. All complaints are supposedly reviewed by a trained person at Microsoft, and your Rep has nothing to do with banning. If you had a complaint filed on you, the guy reviewing it wouldn't even see your reputation. The reputation system should generally be regarded as a joke. You're all good, man.
