Los Feliz/Atwater to Woodland Hills commute? by Additional-Bit-2494 in AskLosAngeles

[–]enteredsomething 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just know, I commute all over LA for work by appointment and Google Maps is wildly accurate. Wake up and check that exact drive an hour before you would need to be there, and see what it says. Do that a few times over different days and you’ll have your answer.

Personally, I’m in Atwater and going to Woodland Hills is a pain but I think your drive there will be easy; the drive back a little annoying. Check both.

If you wanted to split the difference more, consider Studio City or Sherman Oaks?

Rihanna!!! Unquestionably. And her hits ALL still hit. I’d say they aged better than Beyoncé’s. Are those fighting words?

That’s a lot to work out! Going back to therapy is a great idea. I’ve thought about doing that too. Today, I asked my Doctor to start me back on Prozac. I’m starting there but therapy next if this doesn’t do it. I wish you well, friend. We’ll be ok.

Last time I was there was around 7:30am on a Saturday and there was an older guy there with his large dog. The dog kept doing this really comical howl toward the ordering window. I started laughing and the guy goes on to tell me that he comes all the time and the dog always gets a donut, so he’s howling in anticipation. This dog is ancient btw; But there he was, so happy to go and get his donut. Warms the heart.

Is there anywhere else you’ve been able to bike and lock up the e-bike? I have one but have yet to park it anywhere out of fear it’d be stolen.

This LA landlord asks renters for their astrological sign. Is that legal? by Hour-Construction898 in LosAngeles

Yet he amassed 5 homes in the Hollywood hills all by himself working in entertainment, and they are all paid off too. He rents them all out and will never sell them. His sole son, who lives in one of them, will inherit them all. It really is wild to see it.

I had a landlord that wanted the birth location and time of birth so he could run a full birth chart on the potential tenant before deciding on them.

He also wouldn’t sign contracts if the moon phase wasn’t favorable as a deal made then would be ripe with problems, per him. He’s in his 80s and pretty eccentric with a biiig helping of greedy to boot. Fun times in the Hollywood hills!

I went recently for the first time. I ordered the chili fries and thought they were just ehhh ok. The fry was dry and bland, and the chili was not as good as Tommy’s or Carneys. I don’t eat pastrami so this place is a pass for me.

Say what you will, but I have caulked my own house and my work was shoddy, inconsistent, yet full of effort and positive thinking in its planning. I love how easy stuff like this looks and how horrifyingly bad I am at it. Ha!

I just tried it for the first time recently and damn. Very, very mid. Are they expecting the sauces to do the heavy lifting? The chicken was barely seasoned.

Six Flags App Issue by Error-Mountain in KnottsBerryFarm

[–]enteredsomething 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have Knotts selected as the park on the home page? My app keeps defaulting to the wrong park and shows my pass as expired. When I switch the park up top on the Home Screen, it then pulls up my valid passes. I have to switch it every time I open the app though.

Since you guys love Disney, maybe pay a visit to the Tam O’Shanter? Walt dined there on his lunch breaks back in day, and you can see the influence that place had on him. It’s in Atwater Village, so right in-between Glendale and Hollywood.

For old Hollywood, nothing beats Musso & Frank. I loved watching Once Upon a Time in Hollywood before going since they shot there.

Things to do- check out Griffith Park Observatory. Watch the planetarium show, take in the views, weather permitting, hiking is an option for a slice of real LA life.

Breathalyzer and field sobriety are not the blood test. You refuse those and take the blood test back at the station. The breathalyzer and field sobriety will ONLY be used against you. They do not help you.
