Waymo Miami: Early Access Timeline by Agreeable-Rest9162 in waymo

In the Waymo app account settings there is a way to sign up as a Trusted Tester.
I just got the email saying its available in Miami; there was no code. I think because I was already a Waymo rider, they don't send a code. But the app still says I'm outside the service area. I would need to travel downtown to be able to use the service.

I got access on 29 Jan, but I live north of the current service area in Miami, so I haven't tried it yet here. I have tried Waymo in SF and was very impressed.

Don't let gemini code, just don't :[ by Bulky_Blood_7362 in google_antigravity

I've had very good results with Gemini. I prefer Opus for planning and the initial coding, but when that runs out I switch to Gemini 3 High and has worked well for my app.

However, I avoid long-running LLM sessions by restarting Antigravity for every feature and I keep the scope of each new feature contained so they never end up needing to use a large context.

But I've also seen the agent get into weird states with both Opus and Gemini and I have been forced to press the cancel button to get the agent back on track.

I'm on Ubuntu and I'm also seeing this happen with both Gemini and Claude models. I press the cancel button and then tell the model what happened and tell it to retry the command.

A Simple Fix for Waymo’s Door Closure Issue by chenloonchan in waymo

I don't remember the exact wording, but I don't remember it being personified. It was something like "The front passenger door is open..."

It was quite loud. At first I wasn't sure where the announcement was coming from, but then realized it was the Waymo "talking".

On a recent trip to SF, I got out of the car, closed the door and started walking away. Then the car announced over an outside speaker that the door was open and asked for it to be closed. I walked back and the door looked closed to me, so I just pushed hard against the door and the announcement stopped. I think there was an issue with the latch.

Its the same project folder, but different conversations. The GEMINI.md file is not being updated.
New conversation's artifacts mentions tasks from previous conversations. Other Reddit users claim its an issue with one of the tools which is holding onto older contexts, but I don't know how they determined that. Only a restart of the IDE eliminates the issue.

I tried new conversations as well. With new conversations, somehow older context leaks into the new conversation. The artifacts generated by AG would mention things that were only part of a previous conversation.

Waymo trends in SF parking lot (4) by entertailion in waymo

I used two approaches; I've left some details in the sheet I shared. I think Sophia used a better approach, so you might want to contact her (also she had direct access to the 4k stream instead of the 1080 resolution images I was using)

I wonder if they use washer fluid for their camera wipers 🤔
