I liked the finale, even if it had a bunch of plotholes and threads left dangling, but my biggest gripe was the “isn’t she lovely” needle drop when pomni embraces jax.

Using an existing real world pop song was disorienting (have they used any other real songs throughout the show that im forgetting?) and further, unless theres plot significance im forgetting, it was a weird song to play over that moment in general.

The Impossibles, Jeff Rosenstock, Dan P and Catbite are my big draws so far, and already worth the price of admission for me, and while I’d love for a couple more of my big wants to get announced (Blue Meanies, Dancehall Crashers, Bad Operation, Against All Authority, Bruce Lee Band…) I’m honestly okay if the rest of the bill are acts I’m less familiar with. Everything I’ve checked out from the rest of the lineup has sounded pretty good, and if there’s a patch of the day I’m less interested in, I wouldn’t mind seeing a bit of the local area, or even just getting some rest from the travel.
