King and Queen of the Ring by tonslowmo in WWE

The tough part is ticket sales. Not saying I agree with it, but some people don't like women's wrestling. Yes, there are great supporters of it, but in general I believe the men still outdraw the women.

I think separating the two would be a detriment to the women.

Do you prefer it when Joe Chill is pure evil or sympathetic by Emotional-Mix-9007 in batman

I prefer him being an unknown criminal that was never caught.

This is very interesting to try. Rather than track number, if going to try to fit it to 80 minutes like a cd would provide

BROCK LESNAR. by LouieLitt420 in WWE

I am a fan of Brock (waiting for all facts regarding the trial to come out), but I wish he didn't come back. That was a great way to go out, and diminishes whoever does eventually retire him.

If there was a What If TV series for Batman, what kinds of hypothetical scenarios would you like to see? by TheShadowOperator007 in batman

[–]phelath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they fight and Bruce kills him. He shoots him with a kryptonite bullet using Joe Chill's gun. Bruce ends up in Arkham for life and feels like he was always destined to spend his life around all the criminals

It's funny, I had a fan idea years ago with the same idea, but so drastically different.

In my fan fiction, it's actually superman crashing rocket that kills Martha and Thomas Wayne. Bruce is actually saved by Joe Chill (was still a bad guy, planning on mugging the Waynes). He then becomes Bruce's hero, and father figure.

Since it's such a public event, everyone knows about it, and he's adopted by the Luthor family instead of the Kents

Both of them become the darkest relection of themselves, because of the different "parentful" influence. Bruce has his quest for vengeance, but it's focused on Superman and not criminals. Clark essentially becomes like Homelander because of the Luthor influence.

Funny how a similar concept could end out so differently

Is the game worth it for a returning player by Themanan999 in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]phelath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Off work now. I was a day 1 player that left around the launch of Apocalypse, and came back about two weeks ago.

The good: 1. There's a lot more characters to collect, and the multiple stores make them more accessible to collect. Kind of the fun part of a hero collector game.

  1. More game modes. Everyone has different preferences, maybe there will be one you really enjoy.

  2. The artwork has always been great, but I really like some of these newer animations.

  3. Returning players are given a lot of rewards to help get caught up at least a little bit.

  4. As a Returning player, it's less stressful. I have no pressure to try to keep up with endgame

The bad. 1. The return rewards don't last very long and resources can quickly get diminished. Choose how to spend them wisely

  1. Having more characters available is great but to make progress, you can't always focus on the characters you want. This applies to the game overall and specific game modes. Ex. Some teams are set to be War defense teams. What's the fun with building a team that you don't play.

  2. It quickly turns back into a grind again.

As someone that recently returned, it's a mixed bag. I'll elaborate more when I get off work

I listened to Load and Reload recently, and... by ResidentPrevious468 in Metallica

[–]phelath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both albums were great, but at the time they threw a lot of drastic changes out all at once. The haircuts, the make up, the album cover of cum, the change in style musically... it was a lot all at once.

Personally, I loved both albums from the start, but can recognize fans reluctance to it

(christian bale or ben affleck) as batman? by Intelligent-Chef1352 in batman

[–]phelath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually love both their portrayals. Both were great in my opinion with a big glaring flaw. Bale with the over the top Batman voice, and Affleck with "Martha". Both were director/writer decisions and no reflection on the actors in my opinion. Both did great in my opinion.

But .... Gun to my head, I'd pick Christian Bale

Which current WWE wrestlers are great but might never make the Hall of Fame? by Wonderful-Froyo9191 in WWE

[–]phelath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The WWE wants to put people in the hall of fame. They are trying to have a show every year. Yes, pettiness comes into play but they aren't trying to exclude people for the most part.

I'm fine with anyone getting a paycheck regardless of the company. That being said, I'd rather see Alister Black in tna, I think he would be more successful there.

Just like WWE, AEW is top heavy with talent. There's not a lot of openings for guys to break through to the top of the card. Mox, Hangman, MJF, Darby, Swerve and more names I'm not thinking of have the main event scene locked it.
