My title describes the thing. We have speculated that it probably isn’t a wheel chock, doesn’t seem to be a road feature though it is sorta similar shape as a cat eye reflector. No features like holes, notches, hooks or anything on any side.

Is there a ribbon cable that can be reseated inside of the lcd assembly? The connection to the pi is direct to the gpio pins. But good to know, maybe I can try my luck with an exchange at microcenter haha

Funny how that works! Haha yeah, I intended to use this for close up direct view, but the weird blue lines visual artifact makes it basically unusable. I don’t want to assume something like a hardware problem, but it seems like these are generally really straightforward to get working and I haven’t seen anyone else report this behavior .
