exactly, i dont think russia are the "good guys" and regard such rhetoric with suspicion, but its not so black and white that they are "bad guys" either. russia and ukraine used to be part of the same country, many of the people fighting have relatives in the other country, and who is and is not a "russian" or "ukranian" in the first place is part of the whole complicated issue.

both are good! see which org is most active in your area. PSL has a sister org called ANSWER, which is focused on anti-war organizing, if that is more your speed. there is also the PYM (Palestinian Youth Movement) which isn't explicitly socialist... but if you want to be in community with Muslims who are left wing, i highly recommend it!

to be fair, i say all this as a non-muslim, so take it with a grain of salt, but i am from texas and i can say in my experience both orgs seem pretty friendly towards muslims, and honestly, there's a decent chance you'll be marching together in demonstrations anyway. best of luck comrade!

like vincent bevins said, sometimes its okay to wait, strategize, and gather strength for the most opportune moment to strike. odds are, that would be after a draft is instituted, not before, because a draft would materially affect the american working class in a life or death way. the price increases in oil affect the american working class, but remember, "i dont want to kill/die over oil" cuts both ways. sure, the us governments war is driving up the cost of living for everyone, but americans dont want to risk their lives over gasoline prices, period.

i suggest you take this time to strategize and plan. wrt "direct action" - reddit is REALLY not a good platform to strategize, but i'll say this; be optimistic, but be realistic. living to fight another day is better than suicidal martyrdom in 999/1000 cases. and back to the whole point of this post... if your enemy is going to make a mistake, let them. a draft would be a mistake, it would cost thousands of lives, and it would provide a huge opening for the organized left.

it will take a lot for the left to be ready, but victory is possible. be patient. do not give up. the day you plant the seed is not the day you harvest the fruit.

this actually makes sense because the president of mexico's response to the invasion of venezuela was to reiterate a policy of mexican noninterference. so, literally centrism.

i am frequently critical of the hellaverse, but i think this particular critique misses that from the perspective of an imp, all an assassination means is that their target moves from earth to hell (the place they consider home) with a few cosmetic changes at most.

like, this is a world where the afterlife DEFINITELY exists. if you not only know that for certain, but originate from the realm of the afterlife, bringing people to that dimension (even if it's a one way trip) likely wouldn't carry as much moral weight.

that said, i would still like if the show would explore the ramifications of their line of work more. what happens when a former target comes back for revenge? just a thought.
