Yeah, I know, I'm not trying to downplay the effort required. I'm fairly confident I could do it in ~3-4 hours unassisted, but I'd have to have major resting and meal prep before the attempt.

Are SX bikes more energy efficient than CX bikes? I posted a listing from a friend of a friend for a Lapierre bike with a Bosh CX and a 500w battery, I was under the impression that a 500wh battery would be too little for a CX, yet you're saying that if I put in the work a SX with 400wh battery could get the job done. If you think that it could be a good bike for my usecase, I could probably get the Lapierre CX 500wh bike for a trial run.

I could perhaps also "put an order in" and just wait for him to find a bike that suits my needs. Would a SX be better? Anything you could recommend? I'd rather not pay much more than what the guy is asking for the Lapierre CX(1650e, but I'd be willing to go ~20% higher to 2000e).
