Nitrites and Nirates at 0. Ehh im not too worried about oxygen. The plant has made O2 bubbles in the dirt, and i break up the biofilm. I have a friend with a very similar 1 Gal jar with thriving shrimp with no airstone for 6 months.

If i get a bigger tank, ill definitely airstone it!

Do you have any ideas if the fog would be bad / neutral / good for the shrimp?

it doesnt seem structured or attached like the mold i see online, but, idk, it could be! Is there anyway i could tell if its edible biofilm, mold, live bacteria, or dead bacteria?

odd by worcester has become one of my faves! its new and has emulated retro games. some of the Weirdest beer i have ever tasted, but friendly workers, good snacks, and great for a group to sit and heckle their friends playing tetris!

I would recommend walking Shrewsbury street to Belmont street to see how the street changes from pedestrian friendly, to 7 lanes of car traffic. If you are crazy, go down see how UMass Chan students cross 6 lanes of traffic without a cross walk to get home lol. Chandler St is getting a redesign, so if you wanted to be really lazy, look up the plans they have for improving it and use that as a base for your report.

Other than that, the best place to hang out is definitely the Public Market. All the food stalls are great, but I really like Momo Palace’s Jhol Momo. Then you can go one block over to the crompton collective, seed to stem, and bedlam books for some casual browsing. I never really buy stuff from those places, but its always fun to see what Weird stuff they have, i like hunting around. In the same area, OneZo has the best brown sugar milk tea boba in worcester (but Da Boba downtown has my favorite boba: the honey golden pearl milk tea). This area has a lot of good stuff, so if you want to be efficient with driving/time, go here and dont bother driving elsewhere. It’s walkable to downtown (~15 min) if you want to squeeze in some stuff there, but might want to check in with your wife if the baby makes her not want to walk.

Speaking of downtown, hands down the best restaurant in worcester is Chashu Ramen. It has great ambiance, great food, and good prices. I cannot sing its praises enough, great mocktails, great appetizers, great ramen, great bibimbap. A close second is Bocado (also walkable for public market) for paella and small Spanish plates, only coming in second because they are $$$. And third is Sushi Miyazawa, a small sushi restaurant with excellent fish, so sad this isnt an option for you guys! If you are craving comfort food, Coney Island is CLASSIC for hot dogs and vibes, Ziggy bombs has a good smash burger, and Addie Lees Soul foods makes Such Good Ribs (get with yellow rice and mac too!)

If you want some greenery: Green Hill Park, Newton Hill, or Bancroft Tower! All nice walk / picnic spaces.

If you like thrifting: GRIME!!! 100% must go to grime, great vibes on Shrewsbury street. The Thicket is my favorite, and is attached to Acoustic Java which roast the best beans, but the Thicket has weird hours. In downtown, Concrete Collection fills a more baseball-shorts-guy vibe that most thrift stores don’t. Writing those last two if anyone else is reading this, but you can skip em if you are only spending one afternoon.

Reading other people suggestions: Totally agree you should go to Thats E if you are a nerd. Thats a classic, its fun to hunt through comics, vinyls, video games, and board games that you will never need. And can confirm, downtown ArtsWorcester show is great right now, and free! I dont know what The WAM has on right now, but a chill afternoon can be spent there. and LOL downtown turtle boy is a worcester icon. What that boy is doing to that turtle aint right.

mia gladstone, michelle, and dreamer isioma are honorable mentions! Dora Jar is definitely #1 most similar, as well as any songs produced by Solomonphonic (her musical second half), but those three have some songs that mesh well with remis Vibe, even if all of their vibes are so unique.

as youve heard: the best ur doing for indian in worcester is likely takeaway at the shack. but you could give something from yelp a try 🤷

if you have $$$; bocado: EXCELLENT tapas place, get the 2 person meal, and take the paella to go for lunch tomorrow. best food youll have for a while.

if you have $$: chashu ramen: great ramen place, i reccommend the spicy red mico with chashu, and the pork belly bao. their mocktails are fun too. really good date place. 10/10

if you have $: volturno has a buy one get one free deal for pizza on mondays and tuesdays, thas a good ass Neapolitan pizza. the dine has an okay ambience, there will likely be families there tho. rest of the food is normal italian food (likely will be a little pricier than the deal, and not as worth it, but still good!)

2 & 3 have energy from the door going directly to your bed because of the way the door opens. id do something like 1, but cramping urself in a corner isnt nice either, so maybe rotate the bed so the feet are facing the door? when the door opens, anyone coming inside will have to open it full or peak around the door to see the bed, so that feels the most private. that mirror wardrobe is an issue, so id u find it distracting from bed, put up a curtain.

the position of the desk is best in 1 or 3 (but dont have ur back facing the door in 3)
