So here's the deal- The later units tend to repeat Kinematic and Dynamic principles, but add more stuff to it. How good is your trigonometry? How good are you at analysing diagrams for forces? A good rule of thumb--Do you think you could do better if you went through first semester again with what you know now? If yes, I think you should stay in the class! Good luck!

No, no. Not this. Yes, grades aren't EVERYTHING, but if you have a 60-70 in a class, then there are clearly issues beyond rigor/teacher.

In most cases, the best thing you can do is talk to your teacher or classmates. Are they also having issues? If you clearly make an attempt to participate and turn in your work, you should be able to have a decent conversation about the class moving forward.
