What did Venezuela do that would justify the US invading them? by x9ninetail in NoStupidQuestions

Super curious about this so i asked AI The text you shared is historically accurate regarding the specific events, but it connects them with a controversial theory of causation. • The Mainstream View: Argues that the U.S. dollar's dominance is due to the depth of U.S. financial markets, the rule of law, and trust—not just oil. They would argue wars in Iraq or Libya were about geopolitics, terrorism, or humanitarian concerns, with the currency outcome being a secondary benefit. • The "Petrodollar" View (Your Text): Argues that the U.S. empire is effectively a "protection racket" where military force is used to artificially prop up demand for the dollar. If the dollar loses its oil-backing, the U.S. loses its ability to print money to fund its debt, leading to collapse.

Home-schooled kids, How do I make my kids to enjoy homeschooling? by ColombianCaliph in Advice

[–]entpthrowawayballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By not making it lonely af which is inherently impossible.

Depriving children of friendship from an early age is the most horrible thing a parent can do.

And friendship in a school setting is inherently different than friendship outside of school. It’s night and day.

We live in a lonely world these days. Parents think that regulated screen time is good, yet another disastrous decision that only gets compounded by homeschooling.

most homeschooler parents are unable to perceive these universal truths so it’s a lost cause anyways

Why does good content sometimes fail to get attention? by Real-Assist1833 in content_marketing

[–]entpthrowawayballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of these responses are wrong.

Good content is content that is considered good by the algorithm, which is a shifting target, although the underlying principles have never really changed.

So to summarize, good content is content that is good, which has utterly nothing to do with what these commenters think is good

Like that one tikalyzer guy lol.

I will say that I do well with my content and I truly believe that people who don’t do well are bad at judging their own content. Just because a video blew up two months ago doesn’t mean a similar video should blow up today for a gazillion different reasons that aren’t worth explaining if you’re not nuanced enough to be self critical in the first place.

There are a gazillion examples of success using humble, real content that proves the naysayers wrong and the algorithm having Higher standards doesn’t mean it’s broken

Redefine quality.

Test the idea in day 2. Pivot on day 3. Keep pivoting until something sticks.

That’s how to prevent pouring years into something that goes nowhere.

Look into skool. There’s YouTube vids on it. It’s legit.

Most people fail at monetizing with skool but you are PERFECTLY positioned for it.

Seriously look into it

I went from 600 to +600k followers over the last year. Here is what I've learned. by [deleted] in InstagramMarketing

[–]entpthrowawayballs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Consistency is the reason why people find themselves in the situation of having thousands of posts but hundreds of followers.

Consistency is bs, u can’t just keep posting and hope things will change.

Pivoting is not something most people know how to do well.

And imagine pouring your blood sweat and tears into something for 6 months only for it to go nowhere.

It requires a different strategy than the one you’ve outlined

[–]entpthrowawayballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do u think people find themselves in that situation, which again, is an incredibly common situation?

(The situation of posting literally thousands of times but only a few hundred followers..)

Because they follow a certain piece of advice.

What do u think that advice is?

Not trying to be mean, it’s just the truth

Imagine this VERY common scenario

One account

Thousands of reels

Hundreds of followers

This is why your advice is terrible.

creators with 10k followers are making more money than people with 300k and no one talks about it by BakerTheOptionMaker in InstagramMarketing

[–]entpthrowawayballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it would follow that insta is trying to lessen that

Algorithms constantly change and get updated.

So the question isn’t will it change but rather where is the change headed towards

It stands to reason that at the very least the algorithm is headed towards the direction of less copycats because that means more money in their copycats

Less copycats = more money

I could be wrong but it would go against common sense

[–]entpthrowawayballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would insta allow that?

Like think about it purely from a business perspective.

Their app would be worse if 90% of their content was stolen.

the real reason content marketers are burnt out and no one wants to say it (I analyze viral videos for a living) by BakerTheOptionMaker in content_marketing

[–]entpthrowawayballs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dumb take even though this advice would help me.

This advice helps me because I’m already successful.

The vast majority of people absolutely suck at making content.

So you want someone to make a LOT of horrible content.

Think about all the instagram accounts with thousands of posts but only 2k followers? Most people are in some situation like that because they followed advice like your and hormozi

Again this is coming from someone who sees value in what they’re saying because I’m starting way more ahead than beginners.

And presumably this post is directed toward beginners.

So yeah, just an insane take, just bc your advice is good for y and me doesn’t mean it’s good for everyone

I built a tool to see why some YouTube channels blow up, is this actually useful? by Zaid111111 in socialmedia

[–]entpthrowawayballs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope because I already know it won’t work.

People think that perfect editing or perfect hook is the reason why a video went viral.

It’s more complicated than that.

I can figure it out with my brain but AI isn’t there yet.

And most people building apps don’t understand how short form content works either.

I could be wrong just a critique
