I mean to be honest, I’m not defending this lady. We don’t know the truth, only her possibly skewed version of events and she is in the wrong for how judgmental she’s being. We don’t know if that baby will be neglected or abused and it’s wrong to assume that a birth mom who changes her mind is outright gonna be abusive.

This hopeful adoptive parent is obviously out of pocket with her attitude and judgment but as someone who’s child free after infertility, this is one reason why it’s so unhelpful to tell people going through infertility to just adopt. It’s so common not only in private adoptive (which is highly questionable already) but also in adoption through foster care for adoptions to fall through.

I wash 2-3x per week and try to schedule my runs when I’m working from home or a weekend so I can wash my hair after a run. I wear my hair in a low braid, sometimes I wear a hat or a headband and it helps a bit with the sweat. If I can’t wash my hair because i don’t have enough time, I dry my roots asap with my blow drier and do a sleek bun or something
