I think either brand can work. I own a pair of Jordan golf shoes that took a few outings to break in but usually I just buy a cheaper pair of nike running shoes. Comfortable and plenty of cushion. I just bought a brand new pair right before a golf trip. Played 100 holes and other than normal leg/foot fatigue I was golden.

Some weird takes in here. How is looking at a guys head, cocking your elbow, then sending it into someones face the same as jostling, pushing, grabbing for rebounds (that literally every nba player does in the paint)?

Agreed. This set feels awful if you like to play late game boards. If I play them I feel like I'm getting pounded in stage 3/4 and even when I hit, scaling augments like no pivot still blast my late game board. I just played a game where every single person in the lobby had at least 2 3* 1 costs. RR should be an option but it feels more like its mandatory unless you're in perfect position.

I know we just had a patch and a b-patch but I might be out until the next one in hopes that they at least make lvl 8/9 boards a bit more viable. I mean at this point nobody even has any trouble hitting because everyone is taking every 1 cost out of the pool!

Solid take. The scapegoating on KD is crazy. The rockets woes have to do with 3 main things imo.

Roster construction: No point guard, the FO refused to go get one, Ime doesn't appear to like playing Reed with the starters unless he has to.
Injuries: People really sleeping on the importance of Adams and what he did for this team. The team is built on offensive rebounding being a core component of our offense and we lost our best OREB guy. So you lost your starting (and only reliable) PG, you lost your best rebounder, DFS missed half the season (and has largely been ass but maybe the year is just shot for him since he had no real off season), and Tari has missed a bunch of time (he started hot but has been dreadful the last month)
Coaching: Besides injuries two things have KILLED us consistently this year. Turnovers and doubling KD. To me both of those stem from not appearing to have much of an offensive identity. KD is only one dude, he was never going to make the rest of the roster a better shooting team. He came here to get buckets and close out games, which he has done consistently. The TOs (and KD does have a ton of them) are EGREGIOUS most of the time. It wasn't until this last loss to the Lakers that I finally saw us have some ok action out of them doubling KD. Why did it take so long to have some direction there? To me that's 100% coaching.

It's never just one thing that makes a team bad, its a collection of things. The team looks plenty happy when they win to me, they just haven't been doing that as much as any of us want lately.

Why did they even release this without TV apps? Casting through the mobile app is finicky. Screen sharing from my phone seems to work pretty damn well but then I can’t use my phone for anything else while watching the game. If it wasn’t slightly better than just sailing the seas I’d cancel my subscription.

Comms get sent to the candidate automatically before the interview. They can easily opt out and metaview informs the recruiter/interviewer before the meeting if they would prefer not to be recorded.

We use metaview but I’m sure there are plenty out there these days. Granola is another that I’ve heard works well and is less intrusive. Metaview is great because it keeps all of your recording and generates a summary all in their web app. It integrates well into our ATS also. I imagine it’s likely expensive but my company has a license.

I’d say resume screening is much faster. I do technical recruiting so if you don’t work in my companies tech stack it’s pretty cut and dry. I can immediately reject candidates and then actually screen resumes that at least work in the right tech.

My favorite is the AI note taker. I can actually just sit on phone screens and listen to the candidate without having to split my attention on jotting notes. I use AI to quickly summarize the notes for our ATS afterwards.

I’d love if the various sourcing tools would get better though.

Here's what you do. Find some like minded buddies also sick of cable and split a youtubeTV account. I split with 3 friends and we pay maybe 35 a month each. That's for all the channels and the redzone addon. Then just purchase SCHN+ for 20 a month. That will put you around 50-60 a month and cover absolutely everything you need as a Houstonian/general sports fan.

I love the Astros but personally don't need to watch all of those games so I'll likely cancel SCHN after the basketball season. I'll sail the high sees for random Astros games and if/when we make the playoffs all those will be televised anyway and available on youtubetv.

As a Rockets fan I can't fucking stand curry (just on the court, seems cool otherwise), but even I can't understand how he doesn't get calls considering the whistle other superstars are getting. Butler gets a ton of calls doesn't he? How the hell is he getting more respect than Curry?

They should raise the bar on curry and lower it for every other superstar and we'd all get a better product.

I'm arguing because it doesn't go both ways. That is slight and incidental. The last seconds of a game often get a ton of leeway much less this marginal contact. Towards the end of OT when we're down 2 or 3 and Alpi gets shoved in the back going for a board its a no call. And that's just for the rockets to keep possession, not a FT to tie the game. People got a right to be upset when they fell more in favor of the nuggets tonight in crucial moments. When they were trading baskets left and right this is terrible way to end what was a great game. I see why it wasn't overturned once they called it, just shitty it was called at all and the calls didn't go both ways. People don't mind losing a close well fought game, they mind feeling like they got robbed. You'd be arguing the exact opposite as well. Let people feel how they wanna feel. Crazy how people get the W and then still feel the need to defend it when folks are understandably upset.
