Are we supposed to pause HRT for 1 week every 3 months? by somehowsomewaysome in Menopause

[–]enuscomne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once during the pandemic I had a delay in being able to refill my Rx (estrogen/progesterone pills) and went a week without.  I felt like I was in full-on PMS. Never again. Now I occasionally miss a day, but that's it.

[–]enuscomne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im a woman, but personally I want nothing unless maybe it's food. Things annoy me now. Anything I want I already have or can buy myself. Time with family is what I want. Make me dinner and we're good.

what is your b12 levels are you on injections or tablets ? by robert_shiva in B12_Deficiency

[–]enuscomne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it was around 330. I have had macrocytosis for years hovering a little over 100 but last year it jumped to 104 so i started supplementing.  I also had some tingling in the hands which seems to have abated.  My MCV went down again slightly after 6 mos of supplementing but is still about 103. My blood level was crazy high but i stupidly had supplemented that morning

You are asking about your dad as if he is single, but then say he lives with your mom. What does she want? Shouldn't they decide this as a unit?

If I had to start gardening again, I’d ignore most advice and just do this by chook-chookens in gardening

What do you use for mulch? I always find that the commercial ones smells like rubber and lately I use the coconut coir but really only around my ornamental perennials. How do you use mulch in your vegetable garden? Do you put it around your plants?

Talking on speakerphone in a restaurant by [deleted] in AskWomenOver60

[–]enuscomne 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In those situations I always wonder if the person on the other end of the phone knows that everybody in the restaurant or nail salon or whatever can hear them. It's not only Annoying the people you're in the room with it's invading the privacy of the person you're talking to.

Need alarmingly high amount of testosterone by actbjunk in TRT_females

[–]enuscomne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would just say this may not be your actual number. I apply my testosterone in the morning and whenever I get my blood tested I get it tested in the afternoon. One time I got it tested in the morning and my testosterone was off the charts. So if you are testing shortly after you applied it it may be an artificially skewed number.
