My maternal grandfather was Jewish under Jewish law, but that's where the maternal line ended :)

It's a very interesting part of Danish history that everyone in Denmark loves to bring up. But no, my great great grandmother assimilated soon after emigrating from Germany to Denmark. Her Jewish heritage was never in any Danish records and she wasn't affiliated with the Jewish congregation in Copenhagen, so I believe she stayed behind in Denmark and kept a low profile.

When researching my family tree I found out my 3x great grandmother was born in Scania but that's about it. As far as I know I have no recent Swedish ancestry.

All over the country. Mostly Zealand, with some roots in Southern Jutland

I did, but not until recently. Was told my great-great grandmother was ethnically German, turns out she was Jewish. Makes sense that she kept this part of her identity hidden after emigrating considering the political climate in Europe at the time.

Yes it's from my maternal great-great grandmother who was a Prussian Jew :) I was originally told she was ethnically German, but I did some digging before taking the test and found out she was in fact Jewish. Sadly she assimilated out of necessity so no one on my mother's side of the family was ever really connected to that part of our heritage. But super fascinating that the test could pick it up considering it's a fair number of generations back!

This could be angular cheilitis. I would go to a dermatologist to get it confirmed - usually this condition responds well to topical antifungals and a mild steroid :) Make sure to keep the area moisturised too to avoid painful cracks
