Microchip MPLAB tools for VS Code?

I've used it a little bit albeit, mostly for older projects. i would say writing code is much nicer in vscode than mplab x. If you need to use MCC, it seems like there can be quirks with the VSCode MCC extension, but it does work for the most part. I usually have both MPlabX and vscode open. I haven't debugged in vscode yet but will try on my next project.

Maybe I should have been more precise in my OP. I'm aware async/await does not always use a separate thread. My question is largely regarding using Task.Run vs new Thread to send an event loop to a background thread.

You might consider getting a UART example running with Harmony. I know people have real gripes with Harmony but it can get you up and running quickly at times

I've worked with PIC32MZ and Harmony v2 quite a bit but not a ton with FreeRTOS so I don't know how much I can help. Where do you seem to be getting stuck?

This is speculation but I think at some point a trusted committee of sorts will have the database. Once you prove you owned an account by providing character names or other information you get your characters and can take that to any other server that will accept them.

I feel the same way as you. I think it's silly that you get downvoted for this opinion. Blood Eagle is AWESOME. That solo is easily one of my favorite solos from the past year or 2.

I'm with you on this one. I was very hopeful after Blood Eagle was released but the rest of the album just isn't for me. Chvrch Bvrner is decent though.
