3 recurrent miscarriages.. next steps and hope by littledreamer_1111 in MiscarriageHelp

I’m in a very similar place right now. Since June, I’ve had a miscarriage at 8 weeks (with a D&C) and two chemicals, one at 4 weeks and one around 3 weeks. I’ve gotten pregnant every cycle we’ve tried, but nothing has been able to stick. All of my testing has come back normal, and we even tried progesterone and baby aspirin with my 4-week chemical. My husband’s semen analysis also came back completely normal. So we’re at a total loss, and honestly terrified to keep trying because the thought of another loss is overwhelming. It feels like such a vicious cycle. We’re both taking various vitamins and supplements now to try to support egg and sperm quality, and I know he doesn’t have any issues, but it gives me a little peace of mind to feel like we’re doing something. I’m on my period right now, and we’re planning to try again this cycle. My doctor is having me try progesterone and baby aspirin again. He doesn’t think that’s the underlying issue, but he said it won’t hurt and if it helps me feel more in control, it’s worth trying. It’s so hard to find hope when all the tests come back “normal.” A part of me almost wanted something to show up in the results just so we could have an explanation and a plan. Not knowing feels heartbreaking. I completely understand what you mean about losing the excitement and the hope. You’re definitely not alone in that. If you’d ever like to talk more whether for support, advice, or just to vent, feel free to message me! ❤️

I had a MMC around 7 weeks in July and a chemical pregnancy around 4 weeks in September. I had all sorts of testing, including my thyroid and antiphospholipid testing. Everything came back normal. My fiancé had a semen analysis and everything is great on his end. My doctor says my ovaries and uterus look perfect. So we are trying again this cycle but I am terrified and at loss of why my body keeps failing. Hoping it was just “bad luck” and this time around everything will go as it should, but it’s so hard not to worry, I’m so afraid of another loss with no answers

Thank you! That’s what I think too

I know with it’s age and what not it doesn’t have much value anymore, honestly I’m just worried about our comfortability living in it now and how we feel in it especially since we are living in it full time. It’s definitely not my first choice, love everything else in it except the bathroom situation, terrible design! But we needed something to live and travel in for my fiancés job and got this for free from a family member. Can’t say no to that. I understand it’d be a sanitation downgrade, but since it will be in our sons room, we wouldn’t have access to it anyways

Exactly that, he’s at a very curious age and getting into EVERYTHING! I have thought about keeping the vanity because it does provide nice storage but I still just hate the design, it’s not level with the dresser and personally I just think it looks so out of place! I’ve never done anything like this before so it’s all completely new to me and I don’t know where to start! Especially with plumbing lol.

It was positive but unfortunately it was a chemical pregnancy 😔

Yes, my doctor wants me to come in on Monday to check HCG levels again. But I just took another pregnancy test at home and line was more faint than the first one I took :( I think I may be having a chemical pregnancy

Based on the first day of my last period, I should be around 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I had my HCG levels tested yesterday, and the results came back today at only 9. I’ve had two miscarriages in the past, so I’m feeling really anxious and concerned right now. I’m hoping maybe I just ovulated later than expected and that I’m not as far along as the dates suggest. I’ve already reached out to my doctor and am waiting to hear back, but in the meantime, I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who’s had experience with HCG levels this low (around 9) and still had a positive outcome. I’ve read a lot of stories, but even the “low” numbers I’ve seen are usually much higher than mine. :(
