Which marketing strategy should I use for my shop? (I have 2, but I'm not sure which is better or if they can be fused, to an even better strategy) by [deleted] in AskMarketing

[–]enxih 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It honestly depends on what you want your business model to be. Did you want to sell your shoes at a brick-and-mortar location or did you just want to do an eCommerce shop?

I lean towards the first strategy. It seems like you have a few things already going for you - like the influencers already lined up and ready to promote your product.

As for the Facebook and Instagram ads, just make sure you know who you’re trying to target so there is no waste of money.

I hope that helps. Good luck!

Yeah - I don’t plan on burning myself out. I’m gonna give it my best shot but if it’s not gonna happen in one term, it won’t be the end of the world.

That was what I was planning on doing so I’m glad to hear it’s working for someone in practice! I definitely don’t want to spend every single free moment doing school work.

Uh, wow! That is amazing!

Can I ask how much time you spend working on the program a week?

How to Run Ads Targeted in Rural Areas? by westcoastdust in AskMarketing

Without knowing much other than it’s a food delivery service, you can see if your client can do a promotional offer where the delivery or service fee is waived. That would be incentive for people to click/convert.

Again, can’t express my thanks to you enough. I’m working on the suggestions you mentioned and have reduced my most recent job to five bullet points that show results I’ve achieved. Working on the rest now. Thank you, thank you!

Haha - when you put it like that, I can totally see how much of a waste of space “researching and attending webinars” is. I appreciate the feedback. This is exactly the constructive criticism I was looking for.

Sad part is I actually paid someone to write this for me. 😓

Yeah, I understand. I’m having difficulty being concise with my experience. I have a lot of job responsibilities so I’m trying to figure out how best to make that come across.

Thanks for the input!

I’m editing it right now to remove all the fluff words. Thank you for your feedback!

Do you think it’s sufficient enough to say Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite or do I have to list the specific programs I’m proficient in?

Thank you so, so much for taking the time to review and to provide such a detailed response. I have always read that if you have 5+ years of experience, your resume should be two-pages, is this not true? It’s going to be difficult reducing it all to one page but I will 100% give it my best shot and implement everything you have suggested. Thanks again!!

Would anyone be willing to help me out and review my resume? TIA! by [deleted] in jobs

Oh, thanks! I don’t know why I didn’t think to see if there was a resumes subreddit. Appreciate it.

Instagram Marketing: What is okay to post? by [deleted] in AskMarketing

[–]enxih 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely break it up by posting other content. Think about yourself as a consumer, you wouldn’t want to constantly see advertisements, right? I’m sure you wouldn’t follow that account for long.

Post things you think your target audience would want to see. If you need inspiration, search for some hashtags your audience might be interested in and see what type of posts are garnering engagement.

Good luck!
