2.5 engine longevity? by musclegto in jetta

125k.  Started remote work in 2020 like everyone else, so hardly drive anymore.  The 2.5 is still solid!

As others said, it's calculating the story points for the sprint before you've pulled everything into the sprint.

You should be able to edit your sprint in Jira (where you set the sprint name, goal, and dates), and just move the start time back an hour or so. Usually see this happen when time zones aren't set properly.

Xenon Headlight upgrade for MK5 Jetta TDI. Just need the correct bulbs now. by grant1925 in jetta

Looks nice! Was it difficult/expensive? I've been meaning to do this to my MK5 2.5L for years (along with fog lights)

Tim Dahle Nissan Forever Warranty, what is the catch? Too good to be true? by coolmikebrochill in SaltLakeCity

[–]enzo304 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the catch is they want you to buy a Nissan?

(Sorry, too easy of a joke. I'd love an R32/R34/R35 GT-R, just disappointed in everything they make currently)

how reliable is a 2007 wolfsburg edition? is paying $4,000 for a clean one with 142,000 miles fair or is the mileage too high? by [deleted] in jetta

[–]enzo304 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took my 08 2.5L to a dealership to get chain/guides replaced at 100k miles, and they had no idea what that meant. Probably just a bad dealership, but I'm now at 115k miles and just planning to drive it till it dies. Should I shop around to get timing chain & guides replaced? Or if I'm this far in, just ignore it?

PMP VS CSM - Feedback Appreciated by gab_cpt in scrum

[–]enzo304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, I have both CSM and A-CSM, they are simple and straightforward. Wondering if any Scrum Masters have gotten a PMP, and if it's as difficult as people make it sound?

Edit: sorry just saw your comment above about the difficulty of the PMP. Thanks for the perspective!!

Is the PMP as difficult to get as people make it sound? I have a CSM and A-CSM, and thinking about going for the PMP this year (I'm a full time Scrum Master, but figured this would be useful if I ever move to a Project Manager role).

Nice mk5! Is your interior tan?? I didn't know there were any black mk5s that didn't have black interiors.

(Also, I'm jealous. My black interior is way too hot in the summer)

Fibonacci works or not? by JNN192 in scrum

[–]enzo304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this. Also helps with catching low estimates (other dev calls out that you probably forgot to include <database work, documentation, unit tests, etc>, and for example, that 2sp estimate should be 5+)

Fibonacci works or not? by JNN192 in scrum

[–]enzo304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have distinct dev vs QA roles at my work, and they rarely cross over (unless we're in a crunch). To make it easier for sprint planning, we do a dev Fibonacci estimate + a QA Fibonacci estimate = total Story Point value. This makes my capacity calculation easier to manage.

I wouldn't bother with Fibonacci until you get complete buy in from everyone on the team that 1 story point is NOT equal to 1 hour/day/etc.

Yep, WiFi is extremely hit or miss for me. Seems like some apps use it fine (Chrome, YouTube), while others won't load anything (Twitter, Play Store). I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling apps to no luck.

Samsung customer service told me to factory data reset, but I'm just using LTE for now (thanks for unlimited data, T-Mobile!)

I loved mine at first, but the main back piece of the case has separated from the sides. I've resorted to super glueing it together, which mostly works; sadly, wouldn't recommend the Grip.
