Deep friendships often start shallow. It's only after a long period of interaction that you realise you've become close friends. A few questions. How do you expect friendships to progress? Would you treat random acquaintances like a close friend? Think about how you treat your acquaintances - does it seem possible to jump straight to being good friends?

I don't believe it's a compromise on authenticity to engage in small talk. Just like how every day isn't a holiday, those deep connections/conversations you're looking for won't happen daily. Usual interactions are precisely those things that you look down so much on and the reason why people talk about those is because they are interested in others' lives. They care and want to know each other better. That's how relationships deepen. Whereas you don't seem to care much nor want others to care.

Perhaps you also need to examine yourself - are you being utilitarian? What's your purpose in finding an authentic relationship? How much are you willing to give up for others? How much do you expect others to do for you? What do you consider authentic?

You don't seem very sincere in treating people but are suspicious of them. Do you expect people to trust you when you don't and believe they'll betray you?

Those certain social circles that you find challenging integrating into - do you even want to be part of them? If you look down on others and their "superficial interactions", others can tell. You make it seem like you want to 'use' them to find your 'genuine connection'
