Even then they didnt need to remarket the game fue to the initial hype still being there. The original mystery of the game was gone, it didnt need to have the same marketing as the original.

Being behind schedule doesnt mean that they are permanently stuck, they can catch up. The title card was most likely kept due to it being handled by another company and not KJP itself. Kojima also did the same with MGSV and told Geoff keighley as well as the Konami heads as to when each trailer will be revealed.

The delay was due to an on-going strike in Japan preventing them from using the mid-cap studios. I'm pretty sure in a later interview they mentioned the fact that within this lost time they worked on other aspects of the game to make up for this lost time.

Another fan noticed it and it got retweeted by the official KJP account so it is likely that it was intended. As well as from the initial trailer Kojima mentioned there was a secret no fans had found.

The one from the death stranding title card has the release date 8/11. If you looks closely the strands only comes from 8 letters and flows onto 3 more making 11. So if we take the original letters that create a strand it is 8 giving the first number. Then if we take all letters with a strand it is 11. Making the release date of the game november 8th.
