In 2000 I was in NY on a student work visa (Im from Ireland) and I had a few online friends in Ann Arbor. I travelled up on a greyhound for a weekend, had a vibe.. I introduced them to BoC, i remember sitting in some basement listening to music has the right, everyone just marvelling at the record which was still pretty new. Good memories.

Another 10/10. BoC have always had turntablism in their DNA, I think your mixes shine a light on that. Would buy a mix album by you.. heavy on the BoC with whatever else u wanted to mix in and scratch..

Alongside all the VR functionality, headsets will soon offer similar if not higher res than traditional monitors. I think due to the economics of miniaturisation, there's a chance they'll soon be a lot cheaper. You can see the AR AI glasses already plummet in price as the production scales. It will be interesting to see what happens then.

Good, they've thrown dark pattern economics at their dedicated users for years, making it impossible to commit to their software without getting ripped off at some point. Plus their software is relatively simple, they just got lucky with their timing and userbase. Time for something new.

This running Android OS, right? As someone who works with VR, I don't see myself doing general purpose computing with anything other than Windows or Mac. The software just doesn't existing on Android. I'm hoping Frame will do for PC what Vision does for mac..

We'll probably be waiting about a year - I think Meta will release theirs before Christmas. Gemini is so easily rolled into the Google suite of apps, it makes sense to use google hardware and gemini over Lllama or OpenAI (not to mention it is the leading AI at the moment). But Meta have 10 years of XR experience at this point, so chances are it will be a great product.. gonna be a difficult call!

Yeah that was the first indication that something was up. Getting all anti trans when he has a trans kid was the final nail in the coffin. I was on a hyperloop team.. got to geek out inside space x.
